Maes Honey will be present at the Alimentaria Fair

Maes Honey will be at the Alimentaria Fair in Barcelona this 2022, to present all its products, it will be during the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th of April. 

It will share the products of each company that attends and create an atmosphere of exchange of passions for gastronomy, cultivation, food and any food production practice. 

Purpose of the fair

The Food Fair is an event that brings together a large number of promoters of all types of food. The aim is to share their products to show them to the world, but also to participate in activities to enrich and raise the profile of the food sector. 

This major event aims to project the world of food to an even higher level. Something as basic as food, the care and treatment of the products must be given the attention that is commensurate with its importance. 

The coming together of so many sectors of the industry encourages the growth of a world where much remains to be discovered. 

Participation of Maes Honey

We, from Maes Honey, will once again be present at the Alimentaria Fair after our last appearance in 2018. We will be in pavilion number 2 STAND C775, where our honeys will be on display, along with the best Spanish products of all kinds. 

In addition, we will have the opportunity to participate in the activities offered by the fair. This will allow us to share our experience and knowledge for those interested in honey production. But of course, we will also be able to learn from other companies, even if they are not related to beekeeping. 

We are proud to belong to a group of food producers who treat all their products with care and affection, always with the aim of finding the highest quality flavour, just like our honeys.

We are the leading exporters of honey in Spain for one reason: we have the best quality. At this fair everyone will have the opportunity to see for themselves and enjoy our star product.

Distribution of the Alimentaria Fair

The Alimentaria Fair is made up of ten different halls, classified according to the food sectors in which each company operates. This provides variety and greater accessibility for a unique and diversified experience. 

The ten shows are divided into: Grocery food (supermarket food), International Pavilions (international products), Lands of Spain (originating in Spain), Intercarn (meats), Interlact (dairy products), Expoconser (preserves), Restaurama (catering), Snacks & Biscuits & Confectionary (snacks), Mediterranean Foods (Mediterranean) and Alimentaria Trends (new proposals). 

Although we will only be in one of the halls, the others offer a variety of products to enrich the experience. Even if some of them are not related to honey, learning about the involvement of the workers, the natural care of the products or the advice of the experts is always very useful.

Activities Alimentaria Barcelona 2022 Trade Fair

Numerous conferences are held by experts from each company to share their techniques and knowledge in the production of the product in question. In this way, the industry is strengthened by making everyone’s knowledge available to everyone. 

As a complementary activity to the lectures, round tables are also held. In these cases, many artisans exchange culinary opinions and talk about food processing and production in order to contrast and learn from each other. 

There are also live cooking demonstrations. For products that require more technical handling, the best way to share your skills is in person. The fair practically offers a “master class” from the best of the best.
