Pyfano’s work
The Pyfano association is part of the Spanish Federation of Parents of Children With Cancer since 2006, consolidating a relationship of national help to the complete state of physical, mental and social well-being of children and their families.
Pyfano offers information and advice on any aspect related to the disease and its treatment. In this way, it offers emotional support, both from professionals, from the entity, and from volunteers, as well as from parents or adolescents who have gone through a similar situation.
The psychological support provided by the entity allows guiding throughout the disease process, trying to mitigate their suffering and discomfort as much as possible.
The path of social support ensures the work of informing, guiding and advising families about the aids, resources and services to which they can have access.
Educational support is also provided, with specialized care to facilitate the monitoring and school integration of the child, prevent school delay and isolation.
The volunteer program facilitates the execution of respite services, games and crafts, relaxation. The leisure and free time program improves the mood of the sick child and adolescent and facilitates their social integration.
Finally, the Pyfano shelter, located in the vicinity of the Salamanca Hospital, provides comfortable accommodation. Maes Honey is proud to be part of this charity gala in favor of Pyfano.
The impact of its annual gala is increasing. Together we will continue to collaborate to improve the conditions of these children and get more involvement every day.
