Today is the World Cancer Day, but it is important to remember that we must bear this disease in mind on a daily basis. Many are affected by it. There are many families and friends who suffer every day with the sick. It is important to have strength and not give up. But we must bear in mind that in order to eradicate the disease, everyone’s collaboration is needed. Of course the mood is important, but so is the investigation.
That year the motto launched by the “Spanish Association against Cancer” is “Get closer to my reality and discover my emotions.” What is intended to capture is that all parties have their specific burden, the patient not only needs help with the disease, but how to deal with it, how to tell his family, how to deal with expenses, etc. And there is also the environment that they suffer for a loved one and to see how hard the struggle is.
Internationally there are many associations that worry about this disease. And thanks to your great work the conscience is increasing. But there is still a way to go, and investment is necessary. Thus, someday this will only be part of the story and it will not be necessary to worry anymore because it will have been eradicated.

Dinner against cancer
On February 15th at 9:00 pm, the XIV charity dinner “Enamórate de la vida” will take place in Salamanca. The dinner will take place at the Hotel Doña Brígida and there will be free buses. So it is ideal to collaborate with sweetness. Apart from enjoying a pleasant evening the money raised will be used for research and development. In our city there is constant research but help is still needed. So encourage you to attend dinner.
