On September 27, our colleague Laura attended the presentation of the annual charity gala in favor of Pyfano. IX Charity Gala against childhood cancer<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The expected gala will take place on October 12. The schedule will be at 6:00 p.m. in the Palacio de Congresos de Salamanca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pyfano, Association of Parents, Family and Friends of Oncology Children of Castilla y Le\u00f3n, was born in 2003. It is also a regional non-profit association. Its objective is to improve the quality of life of children and adolescents with cancer and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the one hand the gala serves to raise funds for the fight against childhood and teenager cancer. On the other hand to transmit to society other aspects such as the importance of bone marrow donation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unfortunately, there are many cases of children and adolescents who suffer from this disease. For an adult it is something really difficult, but for a child it is incomprehensible to understand that they have to give up a normal life. That is why the help of volunteers and psychologists is important. And not only for them, but also for their families. Well, sometimes it is necessary to provide them with a home near the hospital, financial aid or mood help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
